About me and my practice
I am a down to earth, warm and compassionate counsellor, committed to supporting people who are struggling emotionally.
My aim is the work we do together will cultivate a deeper understanding of self which will lead you to live an more authentic and fulfilling life. You will have learned to regulate your emotions and cope better with your feelings, as well as rewriting some of the unhelpful and limiting beliefs you hold.
Experience
My work is integrative, meaning I draw on a variety of techniques and tools to assist you, tailoring my approach to your own individual needs. What I love about integrative therapy is the work we do together will be completely unique to you, there is no one size fits all.
My main areas of expertise are psychodynamic and person centred therapies. Person centred approach works with the here and now, offering an enriching experience by holding the therapeutic relationship with the upmost importance. Psychodynamic therapy works with the unconscious mind, revisiting your past and childhood experiences can bring deep insight to the root cause of our issues, from understanding our past, we can liberate our present.

Initial Consultation
I know that finding the right counsellor for you is essential, the therapeutic relationship is built on a deep level of trust and respect. The right therapeutic relationship will empower you towards making the changes required for you to flourish; I therefore offer a 15 minute call to touch base and give you a feel for how I work.
During our first full session, I will begin to get know you by looking deeper at your presenting problem, finding out about your past and exploring how counselling can help you move forward with your life. We can also discuss any goals that you would like to work towards and work through any fears you have about the process.
Fees
My fees are £55.00 per session and last 50 minutes long.
